Slippery Mom, my beautiful companion and mother of my son Gentle Gray and grandmom to Princess Gray and Blackybuddy. Slippery Mom passesd away last year so she is no longer here with me.

We first met when my pet webmaster brought us home together a long time ago in Georgia. Unlike me, she was very shy and would always hide in different places. But, I could always find her. She was a month older than me, so when were little kitties, she could beat me up when we wrestled. Ooohhh, how I wanted to win those competitions.

Slippery Mom would always run to the door when my pet webmaster returned home from his long absences and he liked that. That meant we were going to have yummy food too, so I learned a lot from her. She was also very adventuresome too.

One day, Slippery escaped from our place one night and I looked for her all over the house. I meowed and meowed when finally, my pet webmaster looked for her too. We found out she knocked the screen out from the kitchen window and made her escape from there.

We waited and waited and she did not come home. My pet webmaster went outside and looked for her too. Slippery Mom was away for three days when we heard some scratching noises from the kitchen window. She came home! I was so happy she came back, so was my pet webmaster.

But now, she is gone for good. She got very ill one evening and passed away early the next morning. All of us were around her, cuddling with her and hoping she would make it, but she passed on and went to sleep for good. I wanted her to wake up!

Slippery was always friendly to the other kitties and loved to play with them. She was also a very good mama cat to Gentle Gray. I liked how she took really good care of all of them and would love have them wrestle with her. When Stryperbuddy joined us, she was very nice to him and would groom him constantly. I know he liked that.

I will always remember her and hope to see her again so we can play and cudddle together.
